Artificial Intelligence Baby Monitoring Software
Video cameras are routinely used to monitor babies. Over long time periods, such as at night-time, however, continual monitoring is not practical. As a result many events may be missed. This is particularly important for situations in which the baby is unsafe or in danger, for example when the breathing path is obstructed by external objects such as toys, clothes, bedding or the baby is face down. Researchers at Queen Mary University of London have developed a baby monitoring system that is tuned to identify unsafe events.
