Licensing Opportunities

Opportunities with QMI

QMI has a dedicated Technology Transfer team which is separated into two primary areas of expertise: BioPharma and Technology & Engineering, which ensures that it is able to quickly identify the commercial potential and identify potential partners for licensing.

The QMI team works with QMUL’s academics to secure patents to protect the technology developed through academic research.QMI then uses its industry connections and contacts to explore ways of increasing its societal and commercial impact.

QMI’s approach will vary depending on the product / technology, and whether it is available for immediate exploitation or it requires further development, but the approach ranges from securing a licensing deal to developing a spin out company.

QMI has a range of licensing opportunities available for partnering.
